The fourth and the final season of the popular anime series Nanatsu no Taizai (Seven Deadly Sins) is confirmed and will start airing from January 6, 2021 in Japan. Netflix will also be streaming the same, but no premiere date is mentioned by Netflix yet. The final season, called Nanatsu no Taizai: Fundo no Shinpan (Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement), is a sequel to the 3rd season (Seven deadly sins: The wrath of gods).

The anime series got fairly popular and gained fans from all around the world. The first season for the anime aired in the fall of 2014. The previous season, Wrath of gods has gained a lot of criticism for their controversial art and animation. The first two seasons were produced by A-1 Pictures, the third season, however, was handled by studio DEEN. The animation production for the third season was outsourced to Marvy Jack, and the same is expected for the final season as well. The main staff of the third season from studio DEEN will be returning for the final season.
The manga ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ by Nakaba Suzuki was first published in 2012 and recently ended on March 25, 2020. The manga author has confirmed that there will be a sequel to ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ manga, which will premiere in January, 2021.
